Novo mesto has following parking rules in the center of the town:

• Every parking space have to be payed on hourly basis
• Tickets for parking time can be purchased at automatic machines
• Payment can be made with cash (SIT), various cards (look for the signs on automatic machines) and with mobile phones
• Watch out for the "blue zone" - on parking spaces marked with blue colour the maximum allowed parking time is 1 hour
• Parking without the parking ticket in the center of the town is not allowed and is penalized
